Tune in, for all of my comp training and nutrition strategies. Just for being a member, you can keep track of what I do, when I do it and most importantly WHY I DO WHAT I DO! Without understanding the WHY, you may find you fall short of your goals without even realising it! Nothing beats consistency, hard work and focus. Many people compete but very few continue past their first show. It takes drive, determination and above all the mindset to keep going even when the going gets tough. The best advice I can give, is to NEVER, NEVER NEVER give up on your dreams. The road not travelled is full of regret, and the road you know can only take you where you’ve already been. Making an improvement in your life is as simple as making a choice. This choice is making a conscious decision to reach your goal by working towards it. For those of you who are willing to make a small contribution to yourself, each and every day, you will succeed.

How many times are we blind to the good in front of us because we're looking past it for something better? It's like watching the railroad track your entire life, waiting for a train to come in and never realizing that you're sitting smack in the middle of the splendid Grand Central Station. Take a second look at your goals. Are they building on the good already in your life? Are you taking full advantage of the strengths you already have? Is it worth giving up what you have for what you might have? In many cases, the answer is yes. To that we say "Go for it!" with all the enthusiasm we can muster. Those are the meaningful goals. If the answer is no, try reworking your goals to include ones that complement your present life rather than substitute for it. Whatever the answer is for you, we could all use a little more appreciation for the pieces of silver in our lives.

Well, it's been almost 3 weeks since we got back from the USA and I am finally starting to feel better.  I've been sick with pnuemonia for what feels like an eternity, but I guess it's my bodies way of saying SLOW DOWN!  You need to REST!  I guess I need to listen just a little bit....

After coming home from such a whirlwind trip, I am in need of some face time with myself.  Yes, you guessed it, I am taking some time out for a few days before getting back into the swing of things back home.  There are mountains of emails to respond to, oodles of profiles to upload and not to mention a tonne of things to do ready for work on Monday.. so...

The principle is competing against yourself. It's about self-improvement, about being better than you were the day before.

We've just returned home from the most unbelievable trip ever!  The first week was spent in Canada training, eating, sleeping and getting ready for the WBFF bodybuilding show.  After a shaky start, and not really knowing what was expected, things went better than I could have hoped and I ended up in the top 10.  This is something I am so wrapped about, as ALL of the girls who competed in the pro fitness model class MODEL for a living, so for me to get 9th place was the BEST!  Especially as I am no fitness model diva!!  :) lol....

We had such a great time shooting the latest promotional catalogue for under armour, I really felt like a princess and was fussed over by the stylist, makeup artist and photographer as well as our under armour lady.   It lasted about 7 hrs and we did a heap of stuff, i hope the shots turn out okay! :)

Here's the video if you want to have a look!

Pencil in some face time with yourself

Millions of people use organizers, palm pilots, calendars, personal assistants, sticky notes, and date books to help them manage their busy lives. Do you allow these organizers to rule your life? Do you allow space for personal time? Often we micro-manage our lives and schedule our time so much that it comes at the price of our own freedom.
