Do you follow what your heart craves?

As odd as it sounds, sometimes our logical minds can hold us back. Have you ever wanted to attempt a new career, run a marathon, or start your own business? Our brains might scream at us that it is safer to do what has been tried and true in the past, but don't let the fear of the unknown stop you! We all spend a lot of time worrying and little time examining the calling of our own hearts. What are you passionate about? Is there a way that you can honor these feelings in a responsible way? Trying new things can be terrifying, but following our passions can make us feel alive and become some of our most memorable moments in life. The thrill of love, the depths of grief, and the joys of a new career...all would be impossible without passion.

Re: Passion is about being passionate!

Can I ask Lindy, why do you think, if we listen closely to our heart about what we want, love, hope for and dream of, why do we find it so difficult do you think to follow something we not only desire deeply, but also know will give us a new lease on life? Why do you think we slip back into bad habits or not fuel our passion further to truly enrich our dreams and goals?
What do you suggest when some of these moments of "slipping back" into our old negative habits occur?
Thank you for your time and most inspiring, beautiful words.
Kindest regards,
A.

Re: Passion is about being passionate!

Hey beautiful girl,
I think sometimes we are afraid of what lies ahead... the challenges we'll face, if we are strong enough to go through with it, and what we will do if we fail. Fear of failure is the biggest thing that stops us reaching our true potential but if we embrace the fear, knowing that the worst that can happen is that it will just take a little longer and that we'll have to work a little harder, but we WILL get there, it all gets put into perspective. All we can do, is THE BEST we CAN and that is ALWAYS enough. Remember that we are not seeking perfection, all we seek is the ability to do the best we can. Remember that your goals should reflect your level of committment. It's no good aiming for a competition if you can't commit this time to give to yourself for training, eating and sleeping the way you need to. Life throws all sorts of challenges at us, just take each day at a time and if you find yourself slipping into old habbits, just remember that the next meal, hour, or day is a new one and you don't have to accept your old habbits at all. Remember, we all have choices, you can either choose to succeed no matter what is thrown at you, or choose to accept a different path. I know which one I want to choose. You can too, all you need to do is believe in yourself that YOU CAN DO IT, don't give up, just TRY each day to do your best, Your BEST IS ENOUGH! xx
